Jakarta, April 24 -- Indonesia's Islamic Mass Organizations Friendship Institution (LPOI) and Vietnam-based Alliex have signed an agreement to strengthen trust in cross-border digital remittances, targeting safer and more transparent financial services for migrant workers, officials said Friday.

The memorandum of understanding was signed at Miidera Temple in Japan, marking a step toward improving governance, transparency and security in digital financial ecosystems.

"This collaboration underscores the importance of transparency, fairness and trust in building a sustainable financial system accepted internationally," LPOI Chairman Said Aqil Siroj said in a statement issued in Jakarta.
