Indonesia, Vietnam target US$18 billion trade by 2028
Jakarta, July 14 -- Indonesia and Vietnam have agreed to strengthen economic cooperation to achieve a bilateral trade target of US$18 billion by 2028, Indonesian Foreign Minister Sugiono stated.
The commitment was established through a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed by Foreign Minister Sugiono and his Vietnamese counterpart, Le Hoai Trung, following the 6th Joint Commission on Bilateral Cooperation (JCBC) meeting in Jakarta on Tuesday.
"Regarding economic cooperation, we reaffirm our commitment to achieving a bilateral trade target of US$18 billion by 2028," Minister Sugiono said in a joint press statement with Minister Trung.
