Jakarta, Sept. 15 -- Indonesia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have agreed to strengthen government services in both countries through the exchange of experience and expertise, particularly in new technology.

Indonesian Deputy Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs Nezar Patria said the initiative follows last week's meeting between the two governments.

"The key point of today's cooperation with the UAE is strengthening government capacity in adopting or adapting to new technology," Patria stated after the Indonesia-UAE Government Experience Exchange Retreat in Jakarta on Monday.
