Jakarta, July 28 -- Defense Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin has said that Indonesia is collaborating with Turkey in defense technology to strengthen the country's main weapons systems ( alutsista ).
The cooperation was agreed upon during a meeting between Sjamsoeddin and Turkish Secretary of Defense Industries, Haluk Gorgun, on the sidelines of the 2025 International Defense Industry Fair (IDEF) in Istanbul on July 26.
According to an official press release from the Ministry of Defense on Monday, the two leaders discussed several plans for cooperation in the defense equipment sector.
