Jakarta, Aug. 4 -- Indonesia and Thailand agreed to significantly expand their defense and security partnership, committing to joint intelligence sharing, financial tracking, and targeted operations to dismantle cross-border criminal networks operating across Southeast Asia.

The agreement was finalized during a high-level bilateral meeting between Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto and Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul at the Merdeka Palace on Monday, marking a key milestone in Prime Minister Charnvirakul's official state visit to Jakarta on August 3-4.
