Jakarta, Aug. 3 -- Indonesia and Thailand agreed on Monday to strengthen law enforcement cooperation through intelligence sharing, joint investigations, and financial tracking to dismantle transnational criminal networks, including online scam operations, while enhancing protection for victims.

The agreement was announced during a joint press statement by President Prabowo Subianto and Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul at the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta following their bilateral meeting.

Prabowo said both governments had agreed to expand cooperation through information and intelligence sharing while strengthening joint investigations to combat transnational crime.
