Jakarta, Aug. 3 -- The governments of Indonesia and Thailand have agreed to bolster their partnership across several strategic sectors, including food security, agricultural technology, and supply chain resilience.

Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto expressed optimism that both nations can reach their US$20 billion bilateral trade target by 2030 through expanding market access and convening the Joint Trade Committee (JTC).

"We have also agreed to elevate cooperation in food security, covering agricultural technology, logistics, food processing, and supply chain resilience," President Prabowo said in a joint press statement alongside Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul at the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta on Monday evening.
