Jakarta, Nov. 6 -- Indonesia is exploring a partnership with Russia to develop modern maritime technologies, including hovercraft, hydrofoil vessels, and energy-efficient fishing boats, officials said on Thursday.

Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) said Russia's long-standing expertise in shipbuilding could help Indonesia strengthen its maritime industry and build a more resilient supply chain for ship components.
