Jakarta, Aug. 12 -- Indonesian Agriculture Minister Andi Amran Sulaiman emphasized that Indonesia and Peru are deepening cooperation in smart agriculture, human resource development, and market access to boost exports of mutually beneficial, high-value products.
"We hope this relationship can foster a mutually beneficial partnership for both countries," he said after accompanying President Prabowo Subianto during a state visit by Peruvian President Dina Ercilia Boluarte Zegarra at the State Palace in Jakarta on Monday (August 11).
Sulaiman said the two nations have undertaken numerous initiatives under the Indonesia-Peru Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Agricultural Cooperation, signed several years ago.
