Jakarta, Aug. 24 -- Indonesia's Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Arrmanatha Christiawan Nasir has explored the possibility of arranging reciprocal visits between President Prabowo Subianto and his Mongolian counterpart next year.

Nasir raised the proposal during a bilateral meeting with Mongolian Foreign Minister Battsetseg Batmunkh on the sidelines of the 10th Foreign Ministers' Meeting (FMM) of the Forum for East Asia-Latin America Cooperation (FEALAC) in Ulaanbaatar on August 22.

"A visit by the Indonesian president to Mongolia, or vice versa, would mark a historic milestone in bilateral relations and commemorate 70 years of diplomatic ties," Indonesia's Foreign Ministry noted in a statement on Sunday.
