Jakarta, June 4 -- Indonesia and Malaysia reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening cooperation across various sectors during the 17th Indonesia-Malaysia Joint Commission on Bilateral Cooperation (JCBC) in Jakarta on Thursday.

Indonesian Foreign Affairs Minister Sugiono said this JCBC is a momentum to assess ongoing bilateral cooperation and project new opportunities for the future.

"Indonesia and Malaysia have agreed to continue strengthening coordination to enhance broader cooperation in various sectors," he remarked in a joint press statement with Malaysian Foreign Minister Mohamad Hasan following the JCBC at the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
