Jakarta, Feb. 21 -- Indonesia, JICA deepen higher education ties
Indonesia's Higher Education, Science and Technology Ministry has stepped up cooperation with the Japan International Cooperation Agency to strengthen research, academic partnerships and industry collaboration, officials said.
The initiative was discussed during a recent meeting between Minister Brian Yuliarto and JICA Chief Representative Sachiko Takeda, according to a ministry statement released Saturday.
Yuliarto praised the long-standing partnership with JICA, which has included infrastructure upgrades, development of research facilities and capacity building at Indonesian universities through links with Japanese campuses and companies.
