Jakarta, July 29 -- Indonesia and Japan agreed to strengthen bilateral labor cooperation by advancing key worker mobility agreements and expanding skills development programmes to prepare more competitive Indonesian workers for the global labor market.

Indonesia's Coordinating Minister for Community Empowerment Abdul Muhaimin Iskandar discussed the initiative during a bilateral meeting with Japanese Minister of Justice Hiraguchi Hiroshi in Tokyo, Japan, on Tuesday (July 28).
