Jakarta, Nov. 9 -- The National Olympic Committee of Indonesia (NOC Indonesia) and the National Olympic Committee of Iran forged cooperation to strengthen collaboration in advancing sports in both countries.

"This cooperation is a symbol of our joint commitment to enhancing the capacity, achievement, and solidarity between nations through sports," Chairperson of NOC Indonesia Raja Sapta Oktohari said in a statement here on Sunday.

The cooperation was marked by the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between Oktohari and the President of the NOC of Iran, Mahmoud Khosravivafa, on the sidelines of the 2025 Islamic Solidarity Games (ISG) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Saturday.
