Jakarta, Oct. 13 -- The Indonesian Air Force (TNI AU) and the Indian Air Force (IAF) have agreed on several forms of strategic defense cooperation during the 6th Air Staff Talks, which took place in Bali on October 7-10.
According to a press release received in Jakarta on Monday, Assistant for Operations of the TNI AU Chief of Staff, Air Vice-Marshal Suliono, presided over the dialogue, which gathered representatives from both forces.
Head of the TNI AU Information Office, Air Commodore I Nyoman Suadnyana, noted that the two sides expressed eagerness to collaborate on various initiatives, including establishing a coordination and capacity-building platform called the Su-30 Forum.
