Jakarta, July 28 -- The Indonesian Embassy in Addis Ababa hosted a joint jazz performance to promote cultural diplomacy and strengthen bilateral ties between Indonesia and Ethiopia.

Indonesian Ambassador to Ethiopia, Djibouti and the African Union Faizal Chery Sidharta said Tuesday the event marked a milestone in cultural diplomacy between the two countries.

Organized through the embassy's Loka Budaya cultural hub, the concert featured award-winning Indonesian jazz pianist Nial Djuliarso, who performed for more than 120 diplomats, cultural figures, enthusiasts and Indonesians.
