Jakarta, July 2 -- The governments of Indonesia and Belarus signed several memorandums of understanding to foster deeper ties in health, culture, finance, industry, science, and technology.

Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto announced the deals while delivering a joint statement with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko at the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta on Thursday.

"The commitment shared by Indonesia and Belarus to strengthening bilateral cooperation was demonstrated today by the signing of a number of cooperation documents by delegations from both countries," he said.
