Jakarta, Aug. 12 -- Indonesia's Manpower Ministry has established new cooperation with the Austrian government in tourism and welding vocational studies to align them with Austrian and European Union standards.

"The Manpower Ministry commends the Austrian government for its full funding support, knowledge transfer, training management, curriculum development, and capacity building for training resources under the supervision of Austrian experts," Manpower Minister Yassierli stated.

According to a ministry statement on Tuesday, the cooperation will be carried out through manpower development assistance at the Vocational and Productivity Training Centre (BPVP) in Banyuwangi, East Java.
