Jakarta, Oct. 31 -- Indonesia's Air Force (TNI AU) deployed an EC-725 Caracal helicopter in a joint military exercise with the Australian Defence Force (ADF) aimed at improving disaster response and humanitarian coordination, officials said on Friday.
The weeklong Latgabmapad Bhakti Kanyini Ausindo 2025 exercise, held in Bayah, South Lebak, Banten, runs from October 26 to 31.
The annual drill focuses on Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) operations between the two countries' armed forces.
"The exercise strengthens military cooperation and friendship between Indonesia and Australia," Air Force Spokesman Air Commodore I Nyoman Suadnyana said in a statement.
