Jakarta, Sept. 10 -- Indonesia's manpower minister said Wednesday that building an inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystem can strengthen economic independence for vulnerable labor groups, including people with disabilities, the elderly, women at risk and young workers.

"Entrepreneurship not only creates opportunities for individuals but also has a broad impact on society. One successful entrepreneur can generate new jobs, boost local economies and drive national growth," Minister of Manpower Yassierli said in a statement.

He said the ministry has launched an integrated entrepreneurship program that provides training, mentoring, business matching and support for access to capital and markets.
