Indonesia, Oct. 28 -- To strengthen long-term business ties between Hong Kong, Qatar and the GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council), Prof Frederick Ma , Chairman of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), visited Doha, Qatar, from 24 to 27 October at the invitation of the Government of the State of Qatar. During this visit, Prof Ma met with senior officials including ministers of finance, investment and trade, as well as leaders of business organisations and financial institutions with a view to deepening business ties. He also spoke at the UN Conference Trade and Development (UNCTAD) World Investment Forum.
