Jakarta, Sept. 29 -- Indonesia's head coach John Herdman urged supporters to back his team against Bangladesh after Indonesia drew 0-0 with Malaysia in Group A of the 2026 FIFA ASEAN Cup.

"I have huge respect for the supporters. It was incredible to see the stadium tonight," Herdman told a news conference after the match at Jakarta's Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium on Monday.

He said his team felt tremendous support from the fans, particularly during the final 20 minutes against Malaysia.

The coach described the Garuda squad's supporters as an "X factor" for both the country and its players.
