Indonesia, July 13 -- The Indonesian Ministry of Health, through the National Teaching Hospitals Coordinator, has ensured the smooth implementation of treatment for 11 priority critical diseases at regional public hospitals (RSUD) across Highland Papua.

The National Teaching Hospitals Coordinator, Dr. Eniarti, said in a statement on Monday that the cooperation forum involving the Highland Papua Provincial Government and the administrations of its eight districts formed part of the national priority healthcare support program.

The initiative is part of the second pillar of Indonesia's health system transformation, which focuses on strengthening referral healthcare services nationwide.
