Jakarta, Sept. 1 -- Indonesia's Health Ministry has prepared over 100 ambulances and put PSC (Public Safety Center) 119 emergency hotline on alert in several regions to anticipate further demonstrations.
"We are cooperating with local health offices, PSC 119, and other stakeholders," Aji Muhawarman, the ministry's communication and information bureau head, stated here on Monday.
The official detailed that 86 ambulance units have been readied in Central Java, 23 units in Yogyakarta, 21 units in Jakarta, 14 units in South Sulawesi, 11 units in East Java, and 6 units in West Java.
Five PSC teams have been prepared in several regions, while the number of ambulances prepared in North Sumatra is yet to be decided, he said.
