Jakarta, Oct. 18 -- Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin announced on Friday that around 44.9 million people have registered for the government's free health screening program (CKG), with approximately 41.89 million having already undergone screenings.
Sadikin said that with a current screening rate of 600,000 people per day, an additional 30 million participants are expected to join the program over the remaining 10 weeks of 2025.
"To be honest, we might reach around 70 million participants," he said.
The minister expressed optimism that the appointment of Benjamin Paulus as Deputy Health Minister under President Prabowo Subianto's administration will help accelerate the screening rate, particularly among companies.
