Jakarta, Sept. 22 -- Communication and Digital Affairs Minister Meutya Hafid emphasized the need for the online game Roblox to comply with Indonesia's child protection rules during a discussion with Roblox Corporation Co-Founder and CEO David Baszucki on Tuesday.

During the meeting in Silicon Valley, the United States, Hafid urged Roblox to understand and implement provisions under Government Regulation No. 17 of 2025 on the Governance of Electronic Systems for Child Protection, known as PP TUNAS in Indonesia.

"We understand that Roblox is popular among Indonesian children. For that reason, we truly hope that Roblox loves our children, particularly by ensuring their safety," she said, according to a statement issued here.
