Badung, Bali, Oct. 10 -- Starting from January 2026, the Indonesian government will require all video games released in Indonesia to include an age rating label to protect children from inappropriate content, according to a ministry official.

"Every game circulating will be required to display its age classification, indicating the age group it is intended for," Director General of Digital Ecosystems at the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs Edwin Hidayat Abdullah said in Badung, Bali, on Friday.
