Jakarta, Oct. 1 -- Environment Minister Hanif Faisol Nurofiq has instructed a team to investigate the alleged radioactive contamination of Cesium-137 (Cs-137) in Indonesian clove products, as reported by the United States Food and Drug Administration.

"We dispatched a team today and plan to visit the company on Saturday to take further action," he said on Wednesday.

The minister stated that he would personally inspect the clove-exporting company, accompanied by the Minister of Industry and officials from relevant ministries and agencies.
