Jakarta, June 8 -- Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono stated that the government is targeting a reduction in national logistics costs to 12.5 percent of gross domestic product (GDP) by 2029.

"Our goal is simple, which is to make logistics costs more efficient, strengthen inter-regional connectivity, encourage investment and job creation, and ensure that the distribution of goods and public services reaches the people more effectively," Yudhoyono said in a statement here on Monday.
