Jakarta, June 2 -- The Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs has said that the government is pushing to complete and issue the national road map on artificial intelligence (AI) utilization in June 2025.

"From there, we will create a derivative in the form of an AI regulation," Communication and Digital Affairs Minister Meutya Hafid informed after a press conference in Jakarta on Monday.

She emphasized that the government is aware that clear directions and regulations are needed to ensure AI is used optimally and to reduce its negative impacts.
