Jakarta, Oct. 27 -- The Ministry of Manpower has issued a reminder to all companies employing foreign workers to strictly adhere to government regulations and procedures regarding the use of expatriate labor.
Head of the ministry's Public Relations Bureau Sunardi Manampiar Sinaga stated on Monday that obtaining approval of a Foreign Worker Utilization Plan (RPTKA) is a mandatory requirement that must be fulfilled before any foreign national can legally work in Indonesia.
"We also urge workers and members of the public who become aware of the use of foreign workers that does not comply with existing regulations to immediately report it to local labor offices or the Ministry of Manpower for legal enforcement," Sinaga said in a statement....
