Jakarta, Sept. 22 -- The Indonesian government affirmed that it will continue to actively pursue and collect outstanding debts from Bank Indonesia Liquidity Assistance (BLBI) obligors and debtors, despite having fully settled its own Rp218.3 trillion bond debt to Bank Indonesia.

Finance Minister Suahasil Nazara clarified that clearing the state's crisis-era liabilities with the central bank does not extinguish the government's legal right to recover funds from bailout recipients who have yet to fulfill their obligations.
