Pacitan, E Java, Feb. 8 -- The Indonesian government has provided Rp351.8 million (approximately US$20,871) in logistics and emergency aid to support residents affected by a 6.4-magnitude earthquake that recently struck Pacitan District, East Java.

A member of Commission VIII of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR), Nanang Samodra, stated in a press release on Sunday that the aid represents the state's presence in meeting the basic needs of affected communities during the emergency response period.
