Kuningan, W. Java, May 12 -- Indonesian Ministry of Forestry is optimistic about achieving target of reduction in deforestation as outlined in Indonesia's FOLU Net Sink 2030 and the Second Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC).

"We remain optimistic that the target in the Second NDC will be achieved by 2030. All instruments in the ministry are being deployed to ensure that the proceed of restoration and maintenance for forest cover goes well as planned," the ministry's project manager for FOLU NC 2&3, Arga Paradita Sutiyono, said during a discussion at Mount Ciremai National Park in West Java on Monday (May 11).
