Jakarta, Aug. 5 -- Indonesia's Ministry of State Secretariat has opened public registration for 8,100 citizens to attend the nation's 81st Independence Day ceremony at the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta on August 17, 2026.

The registration is available online from August 5 to 7 via official website pandang.istanapresiden.go.id .

According to an announcement on the Ministry's official Instagram account on Wednesday, the portal opens at 10 a.m. Western Indonesia Time (GMT+7) and closes once the daily quota is reached.
