Jakarta, Aug. 27 -- The Indonesian government is striving to accelerate the implementation of digitalization of public services by utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) technology.

The Government Digital Transformation Acceleration Committee, established under Presidential Regulation Number 83 of 2025, will implement President Prabowo Subianto's directive to accelerate the digitalization of public services by utilizing artificial intelligence technology (GovTech AI).

Head of the National Economic Council (DEN) Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, who also chairs the Government Digital Transformation Acceleration Committee, led the inaugural meeting of the committee at the National Economic Council Office in Central Jakarta on Tuesday.
