Indonesia, Sept. 27 -- Public Works Minister Dody Hanggodo is expediting the second trial of the Multi-Lane Free Flow (MLFF) contactless, a cashless toll system, before moving to the semi-commercial phase upon successful completion of the trial.

He explained that the second trial is necessary because the previous test did not produce conclusive results on the MLFF system's performance.

"The MLFF is being expedited for the second trial. The first trial was not conclusive. It was not a failure, nor was it a success," Hanggodo said on Sunday.

According to him, the success of the second trial will serve as the basis for advancing the system to what he calls the semi-commercial phase.
