Jakarta, Sept. 15 -- The government will provide high-speed internet and Wi-Fi facilities to support the infrastructure needs of Sekolah Rakyat, a school initiative aimed at delivering education to underprivileged children.
Director of Digital Infrastructure Strategy and Policy at the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs Denny Setiawan stated on Monday that the ministry is working in collaboration with telecommunication operators to deliver Wi-Fi services to the schools.
He noted that the ministry is prepared to support teaching and learning activities at Sekolah Rakyat through the provision of fixed broadband connections, coordinated with the Ministry of Social Affairs.
