Banda Aceh, Aceh, Dec. 15 -- The Indonesian government ensured that search and rescue (SAR) operations for victims of floods and landslides in three Sumatra provinces, namely Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra, were continued in a measured and coordinated manner.

"We adjusted the SAR operations based on the data of missing victims reported in each district and city," Head of the Disaster Data, Information, and Communication Center of the National Disaster Mitigation Agency (BNPB), Abdul Muhari, said.

He made the statement during a press conference on Aceh disaster response update in Banda Aceh, Aceh, on Sunday.
