Jakarta, July 29 -- Indonesia is formulating a specialized distribution framework for its flagship Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) program to safely deliver food to children living in conflict-vulnerable and high-risk remote regions.

National Nutrition Agency (BGN) Head Sudaryono stated Wednesday that the government is utilizing local institutions to navigate security challenges in sensitive zones.

"We are currently working on mechanisms to distribute MBG to children in conflict-prone regions. Several pilot projects have been underway using churches and similar facilities, with support from the military and the police," Sudaryono said.
