Jakarta, July 14 -- Indonesia's Ministry of Cooperatives has reaffirmed its commitment to reviving and restoring cooperatives as the main pillar of the people's economy, coinciding with the momentum of the 79th National Cooperative Day (Harkopnas).

According to a press release received here on Tuesday, Deputy Minister of Cooperatives Farida Farichah stated the 79th Harkopnas serves as a stepping stone for the government to modernise the cooperative movement, ensuring it becomes highly competitive and brings real benefits to the public.
