Jakarta, Aug. 12 -- Telecommunications and Information Accessibility Agency (BAKTI) of Indonesia's Communication and Digital Affairs Ministry is prioritising the expansion of internet access infrastructure to support public service delivery.

"BAKTI has provided internet access across more than 31,000 locations, with the majority in the education sector at 68 percent," President Director of BAKTI, Fadhilah Mathar, said during "BAKTI Media Connect 2026" held in Jakarta on Wednesday.
