Jakarta, Oct. 1 -- The Health Ministry will implement some more checkups in the Free Health Checkup (CKG), such as nutrition status, height, and weight measurements, to monitor the progress and impact of Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) on the beneficiaries.
Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin said here on Wednesday that the initiative will start this year and next year. Sadikin stated that the checkup is necessary in order to collect scientific evidence of the national policy, as well as provide feedback to the National Nutrition Agency (BGN).
For example, the data can be used to give BGN insight on which menu has the best nutritional value, he said.
