Jakarta, April 25 -- Coordinating Minister for Legal, Human Rights, Immigration, and Corrections Yusril Ihza Mahendra stated that the sharper the criticism from academics toward the government, the more it would be welcomed.

According to him, such sharp criticism allows the government to reassess and reexamine policies that have been issued.

"The government never sees those who criticize as enemies. Especially in my case, as I come from an academic background," he said when met here on Saturday.
