Jakarta, Sept. 11 -- Coordinating Minister for Food Affairs Zulkifli Hasan affirmed that rice food aid will continue through December 2026 after the government approved an additional allocation of one million tons of rice for the October-December period.

The additional allocation follows the disbursement of food aid for the July-September 2026 period, under which each recipient received 10 kilograms of rice per month.

"So those who have received rice totaling 30 kg by September will receive it again for the next three months - October, November, and December. The President has approved this," Hasan said in a statement here on Friday.
