Indonesia, July 2 -- The Directorate General of Treasury (DJPb) of the Indonesian Finance Ministry has disbursed Rp2.29 trillion (US$127.38 million) in regional transfer funds (TKD) to seven local governments in Southwest Papua Province as of May 31, 2026.

Head of the Directorate General's Southwest Papua Regional Office, Moch Abdul Kobir, stated here on Thursday that the disbursement accounts for 36.76 percent of the Rp6.22 trillion (US$345.98 million, exchange rate US$1= Rp17,978 on July 2) TKD budget allocated for the province this year.
