Jakarta, Oct. 22 -- Communications and Digital Affairs Minister Meutya Hafid said the government is developing new technology to provide cheaper and more accessible internet connectivity across the country.
Hafid made the remarks during a media gathering here on Wednesday, in response to President Prabowo Subianto's instruction to explore more affordable connectivity alternatives.
"The President said we need to find connectivity solutions that are cheaper than low Earth orbit satellites such as Starlink," Hafid explained.
