Jakarta, Feb. 20 -- Indonesian Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka on Friday urged Islamic community organizations to help safeguard national unity and play a more active role in advancing development, as the government seeks broader public support for President Prabowo Subianto's agenda.
Gibran made the call while hosting leaders of Persatuan Umat Islam (PUI), or the Islamic Association, at the Vice Presidential Palace in Jakarta, according to a statement from the Vice Presidential Secretariat.
