Jakarta, Aug. 8 -- Minister of Population and Family Development Wihaji said the Foster Parents Movement to Prevent Stunting (Genting) program helps provide livable housing for families at risk of stunting.

Wihaji explained that collaboration through Genting serves as a solution to reach families who have not been able to receive government assistance due to administrative requirement barriers.

"If we rely on the State Budget (APBN) or the Regional Budget (APBD), it is often difficult because there are requirements like certificates and so on," he said in an official statement here on Saturday.

He added that another way was needed through foster parents, whose requirements are not complicated, while the state still remains present.
