Jakarta, Sept. 7 -- The Indonesian government has arranged free bus and train services for passengers whose flights are diverted from Soekarno-Hatta (Soetta) International Airport to alternative airports after the airport temporarily suspends flights due to volcanic ash from Mount Anak Krakatau.

Minister of Transportation Dudy Purwagandhi stated that several alternative airports across Java are operating to handle diverted flights, including Kertajati International Airport, Juanda International Airport, Yogyakarta International Airport (YIA), Ahmad Yani International Airport in Semarang, and Adi Soemarmo Airport in Solo.
